Conflict between couples is usually more than poor communication or problems revolving around money, sex, or parenting. Though it may appear that you fight about the same things over and over, it is usually the patterns you develop in trying to handle the conflict that is the problem. I practice Emotional Focused Couples Counseling. Research shows that 7 out of 10 couples who participated in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, got better and continued to have strong growing relationships even 2 years after completing therapy.
